About us

Kennel CIZERA was founded in 1994, originally for the English cocker Spaniels. We have reared puppies from birth A and were looking forward to our next breeding successes.

But fate would have it otherwise. Our breeding female Daisy from Lesní Chalupy was unfortunately, during her veterinary examination before a planned mating in 1995, diagnosed with tumors on her mammary glands. An operation followed and then another three years later so all of our breeding ambitions vanished. At that time we were living in a small apartment in a panel house, we were raising two human cubs and another family member would simply not have enough room.

Our female dog Daisy from Lesní Chalupy lived with us for full 16 years and she was a very good friend to all of us.

We have learnt a lot from her, how to understand the soul of a dog, how to raise and not hurt. She had shown us such a variety of animals, which we didn’t even know lived so close to a residential area. We have gained many valuable experiences at exhibitions with her or during hunting exams and those are very useful for us now, when we are beginning again.

After Daisy passed away in the winter of 2008 we had to decide what to do next. We wanted to have a hound dog but not a Coker Spaniel anymore.

In March 2008 we have found the puppies of an English Spring Spaniel from the kennel Z Úpatí Džbánu and we have brought home two female puppies because my husband and I were not able to make a decision about which one was more beautiful, better, cuter, more amazing and so on…and on…and on… So currently my breeding ambitions are becoming reality again and they are even more colorful because two couples made of a man and a dog are now competing on the field of hunting as well as the field of exhibition.
